Your phone canhandle any of the following types of networks:• GSM 1800• Combined GSM 850/1900The country where you purchased your phone determines thedefault band that it uses. When you travel abroad, you mustremember to change to an appropriate band.1. When Band Selection displays, press the Select soft key.2. Press the Up or Down key until the appropriate option andpress the OK soft key.3. When the display confirms the network band you selected,press the Yes soft key.To cancel the selection, press the No soft key.When you select a new band, your phone displays aconfirmation message and then automatically searches for allof the available networks. Your phone registers with apreferred network within the band.Funbox147FunboxThe Funbox menu contains several fun options.mMode (Menu 8.1)Your phone is equipped with a WAP (Wireless ApplicationProtocol) browser to allow you to access and navigate theWireless Web using your phone.Home (Menu 8.1.1)Selecting this menu connects the phone to the network andloads the homepage of the Wireless Web service provider. Youcan also press the key in Idle mode.The contents of the WAP Browser startup homepage dependson your Wireless Web service provider. To scroll through thescreen, use the Up and Down keys.Note: To access the startup homepage from any other screen in theWAP browser, use the Home option.
