POP3 is the current standard.• Microsoft Exhange ActiveSync - This protocolis frequently used with a large corporate emailserver system and provides access to email,contact, and calendar synchronization.Creating an Internet Email Account1. From the Home screen, tap(Applications) ➔ (Email). If youalready have email accounts, youraccounts screen is displayed.2. Enter your email address in the Emailaddress field. The phone will try toresolve the email address.3. Enter your password in the Passwordfield and tap Next.• Tap Manual setup to configure yourconnection settings manually (POP3 orIMAP). Follow the on-screen prompts andenter the information specific to youremail provider.
