Scroll to an option by pressing the Up or Downkey and press the Select soft key. Change thesetting, as needed.• Alarm day: place or remove a check mark onthe day(s) of the week by pressing the Selectsoft key. If you want to set a daily alarm, selectEveryday. If you want to set an alarm tosound only a single time, select One-timealarm. When you press the OK soft key aftermaking your selection, your phone asks you toenter the alarm time.• Alarm time: enter the time for the alarm tosound.• Alarm tone: select an alarm melody.• Remove alarm: deactivates the alarm.Note: Alarms 1 and 2 will alert you with the alarm toneyou set, or with vibration, depending upon theincoming call alert type (Menu 4.1.4). Morningcall, however, will alert you with the melody youset, regardless of the incoming call setting.5. Repeat step 4 to change each setting.6. When you have finished, press the soft key orthe key to exit.Once an alarm has been set, you will see the Alarmicon ( ) on the top line of the display. To turn offthe alarm when it sounds, open and close thephone, or press any key.Organiser135Note: When quiet mode has been activated, Alarms 1and 2 will not sound. However, Morning call willsound regardless of whether or not quiet modehas been activated.To set the alarm to ring even if your phone isswitched off:1. Scroll to Auto power on the Alarm list andpress the Select soft key.2. If necessary, press the Up or Down key to selectOn.To turn the Auto Power feature off, select Off.3. Press the Select soft key to save the setting.4. When you have finished, press the soft key orthe key to exit.Once you have activated the auto power alarm, acheck mark appears next to Auto power. If thephone is off at the specified alarm time, itautomatically switches on and sounds the alarm. Itthen automatically switches off again.To turn off an alarm:• Press the Confirm soft key.• When the morning call alarm tone sounds, pressany key to stop the alarm. Or, you can press theSnooze soft key to stop the alarm for fiveminutes, after which it will resume. You can dothis a maximum of five times.The snooze alarm tone sounds while the phone isswitched off and the Auto power is set to on, andthe quiet mode is activated. If you reset themorning call alarm time, or deactivate the morningcall alarm, the snooze alarm is cancelled.
