9190The Wireless Web BrowserNote: This feature is available only if your service provideroffers the Internet service by wireless phone.Your phone comes equipped with a MiniBrowser whichmakes it possible for you to use the Wireless Web Browser.The Wireless Web Browser allows you to access up-to-the-minute information through your Samsung PCS Phone.Viewspecially designed text versions of popular Internet sitesincluding Yahoo!®, CNN MobileSM and even The WeatherChannel®(Depending on your service provider).Browsingthe wireless web through your phone is unlike using yourcomputer in that site providers have selected only the criti-cal aspects of their site to present to wireless phone usersand have removed most graphics.Each time you launch the Wireless Web Browser, the phonewill connect to the Internet through the Wireless Web Rateswill vary according to your service option.The Wireless Web will end the connection after a certainperiod of network inactivity and will automatically re-con-nect as necessary. For this reason, you may find that you arebilled for several network connections within a single ses-sion.This is normal and is designed to minimize your bill.Reviewing airtimeYour phone records (or logs) the amount of airtime or talktime used.There are three airtime measurements.A “Total”measurement that lists the number of callsmade to or from your phone, and the total time inhours and minutes for these calls.This airtime mea-surement can easily be erased by you at any time andtherefore is convenient for measuring your usage on adaily, weekly, monthly, etc.basis.This feature is notintended for billing purposes.A “Last Call measurement that shows the phone num-ber, airtime, and the time/date stamp of the last call.A “Lifetime”measurement that shows (in hours andminutes) the total time spent on all calls (incomingand outgoing) since your phone was placed into ser-vice.This airtime log is kept for historical and maintenance rea-sons and cannot be erased.For airtime measurement options:1. Press to display the Main menu.2. Press for Calls.3. Press for Air Time.4. The following three options are available:Press key for Last Call.The screen displays theairtime for last call.Press for Total.The screen displays the totalnumber of calls and the total airtime for all calls sinceyou set this total to zero (by using the “Erase Total”option).Press to return to the previous screen.Press for Erase Total.Press to erase the“Total”airtime measurement, or press to cancelthe operation and return to the previous screen.Press for Lifetime.The screen displays the totalairtime (in hours and minutes) of every phone callthat has been made to or from your phone.
