Callers can still leave messages,but you will need to periodically check your voicemailfor new messages if you are in a roaming service areafor an extended time.1. Dial 1 + area code + your wireless phone number.2. When you hear the voicemail greeting, press .3. Enter your voicemail passcode at the prompt andfollow the voice prompts.When you return to the Sprint National Network,voicemail notification will resume as normal.Setting Your Phone’s Roam ModeYour phone allows you to control your roamingcapabilities. By using the Roaming menu option, youcan determine which signals your phone accepts.Choose from three different settings on your digitaldual-band phone to control your roaming experience.To set your phone’s roam mode:1. While in standby mode, select Main Menu and press.2. Select Settings > More... > Roaming > Set Mode.3. Select an option and press . Automatic to seek service on the Sprint NationalNetwork. When Sprint service is unavailable, thephone searches for an alternate system. Roaming only to seek a roaming system. Theprevious setting (Sprint or Automatic) is restoredthe next time the phone is turned on. Sprint to access the Nationwide Sprint PCSNetwork only and prevent roaming on othernetworks.Note If you’re on a call when you leave the network, yourcall is dropped.
