Useful Setting MenusWakeup EventYou can set the condition to wake up from power-savemode.• On: GThe machine wake up from the power save modeon the following cases:- Pressing any button- Opening or closing the paper tray- Inserting paper in the document feeder• Off: The machine wake up from the power save modeonly when the Power/Wakeup button is pressed.System TimeoutSets the time that the machine remembers previouslyused copy settings. After the timeout, the machinerestores the default copy settings.Job TimeoutSets the length of time the printer waits before printingthe last page of a print job that does not end with acommand to print the page.Altitude Adj. Optimize print quality according to the machine’saltitude.Item DescriptionAuto ContinueDetermine whether or not the machine continuesprinting when it detects the paper does not match thepaper settings.• 0 Sec: This option allows you to continue printingwhen the paper size you have set is mismatched withthe paper in the tray.• 30 Sec: If a paper mismatch occurs, an error messagewill display. The machine waits for about 30 second,then automatically clear the message and continueprinting.• Off: If a paper mismatch occurs, the machine waitsuntil you insert the correct paper.Paper Substit.Automatically substitutes the printer driver’s paper sizeto prevent the paper mismatch between Letter and A4.For example, if you have A4 paper in the tray but you setthe paper size to Letter in the printer driver, the machineprints on A4 paper and vice versa.Toner SaveActivating this mode extends the life of your tonercartridge and reduces your cost per page beyond whatone would experience in the normal mode, but it reducesprint quality.Item Description
