Dual radio operation 59Switching between radios(changing the foreground radio)In a dual-radio system, one radio is always at theforeground and one at the background.To change the foregroundradio, press the function keyprogrammed for switchingthe active radio.The display will change toshow the new radio name,and the currently selectedchannel or group on thatradio.The radio may automatically switch the backgroundradio to the foreground in certain circumstances, forexample, when you receive a Status update fromanother radio.Making a call on more than oneradio (dual transmit)1 Press the function keyprogrammed for dual bodymode once, or twice, untilthe message Dualtx activated appears.While dual transmit isactivated, the symbol andthe two channels totransmit on will appear onthe default display.
