76One-Touch CopyingThe one-touch copying feature allows you to copyfiles from a DVD disc to hard drive and viceversa. The DVD recorder will copy at themaximum speed possible.1. Press CONTENTS to display the ContentsMenu.2. Press to select ‘DVD’ or ‘HDD’ asthe source medium, then press ENTER.3. Press to select the file catalogue whichcontains files you wish to copy, then pressENTER.4. Press to select the desired album orfile, then press COPY.The copying process will then start.5. If you wish to cancel the copying process,press STOP.If you have been copying files from harddrive to disc and then decide to cancel theprocess, you may not be able to use the disc torecord or copy again.6. During the process:Press to select desired application, thenpress ENTER.7. When completed, press CONTENTS to exitthe Contents Menu.Materials recorded on a VCD/SVCD discCANNOT be copied to the hard drive before thedisc is finalized.If you own the copyright, you may copy an entireDVD-Video disc to the hard drive. Contents of aDVD-Video disc can only be copied from harddrive to a blank DVD disc.If you copy recorded titles to a blank DVD disc,you will not be able to use the same disc to copydata files, and vice versa.The ‘One-Touch Copying’ function will not beapplicable, if any part of the title you wish to copyis copy-protected.Use Easy Guider to Copy FilesYou can also copy files using the Easy Guidermenu. For more information, please see ‘UsingEasy Guider: Copy’ (p.41).Lack of SpaceIf the DVD recorder detects lack of space onyour disc, a pop-up box will appear.Wrong FormatIf the DVD recorder detects an incompatibleformat on your disc, a pop-up box will appear.
