Whenselecting any of these sample rates, the “2X” LED will illuminate on the front panel of the MX-2424.e.This light combines with the "base" sample rate setting to indicate the operating sample rator example, if the 48k and the 2x lights are both lit, the MX-2424 is set to record at 96k.FNOTE: Whenever the MX-2424 is switched between a sample rate in the base ("1X") range andone of the high sample rates in the ("2X") range, it will mute all of its audio outputs for theduration of the switchover. If the Analog I/O option is installed, the Analog input converters arereset during the rate switch, and are automatically re-calibrated when the switchover hascompleted. The entire process may take up to ¾ of a second.
