Thus, when a project is loaded into MX-View and its waveforms are displayed, there isminimal delay since the waveform data was already "computed" when the recording took place. It is important to understand that creating and drawing waveforms uses RAM. In general,Waveform Recording should be set to "off" if you are experiencing "Memory Low" messagesand the machine’s RAM has not been upgraded to the 256 megabyte module. You could alsoleave Waveform record turned off if you do not plan to use MX-View at any stage of yourrecordingAfter loading MX-2424 software version 3.01 the MX-2424 will default to "off" for waveformrecording. However, when MX-View software is launched for the first time, MX-View willautomatically turn waveform recording on.Menu 211: New Title & Function for "Auto Unload On/Off"In previous software versions, menu 211 was titled "Auto Unload On/Off ". If Auto Unload wasturned on and the MX-2424 was in "Loop record" mode, it would unload each new track itrecorded to be manually loaded at a later time. With version 3.01, Menu 211 has been re-titled to "Auto V Track On/Off" and its function hasbeen changed as follows:If MX-View is not being used, Loop recording with Menu 211 set to "On" will work the same as ithas previously. If MX-View is being used and menu 211 is set to "On", the MX-2424 willautomatically create a new virtual track with each record pass, and place the recorded audio inthe new virtual track. Virtual tracks with MX-View are not the same as unloaded tracks. Pleaserefer to the MX-View Operations manual for details of the new Virtual Track operation using MX-View.Menu 035: MTC Full MessageThis new menu enables/disables the presence of MIDI Time Code "Full Messages". These areperiodically transmitted messages that occur when the generator output is muted (using menu,030)The presence of these messages is normally intended to provide a display update in aconnected MTC device, as opposed to synchronization information. Disable these messages ifhe MTC receiving device, such as a digital mixer, is unable to handle them correctly.t
