Besure to open the two hydraulictank valves and prime the pumpafter installing the pump.How to Prime the Drive Pump1 Connect a 0 to 600 psi / 0 to 41 bar pressuregauge to the test port on the drive pump.2 Ford models: Close the valve on the LPGtank then disconnect the hose from the tank.Then move the fuel select switch to the LPGposition.Perkins 404D-22 models: Disconnect theengine wiring harness from the fuel solenoidat the injector pump.Deutz D2011 L03i models: Hold the manualfuel shutoff valve clockwise to the closedposition.1 manual fuel shutoff valve3 Have another person crank the engine withthe starter motor for 15 seconds, wait15 seconds, then crank the engine anadditional 15 seconds or until the pressurereaches 310 psi / 21 bar.4 Ford models: Connect the LPG hose to theLPG tank and open the valve on the tank.Perkins 404D-22 models: Connect theengine wiring harness to the fuel solenoid.Deutz D2011 L03i models: Release themanual fuel shutoff valve.5 Start the engine from the ground controls andcheck for hydraulic leaks.
