Troubleshooting tips• Do not use VideoStudio with Windows 95.VideoStudio can be installed and used in Windows 95. Please use VideoStudiowith Windows 98 Second Edition or other newer editions of Windows.• Power on the camcorder to reestablish connection.Camcorders may automatically shut down to save power, as such, losingthe connection between the camcorder and Ulead VideoStudio iscommon. When this happens, users need to turn on the camcorder toreestablish connection. There is no need to close and reopenVideoStudio, since the program can automatically detect capture devices.• When VideoStudio cannot accurately locate timecodes…When capturing video or positioning the tape at a particular timecode,sometimes VideoStudio may not be able to locate the timecodeaccurately and may even halt the program itself. When this happens, youmay need to shut down the program. Another option is to turn off yourcamcorder, then wait for a few seconds (at least six seconds) beforeturning it back on. This resets VideoStudio, and once again, allows theprogram to properly detect capture devices.
