This is especially useful forrendering across transitions, title sequences, or to check the timingof audio clips in relation to the associated video. It is advisable thatprojects are rendered regularly to reduce overall render times.The Play button in the Navigation Panel serves two purposes: forplayback of your entire project or for a selected clip.Also, while editing, you will want to preview your work frequentlyto see how your project is progressing. VideoStudio offers you twopreview options: Instant Playback and High Quality Playback.Instant Playback allows you to preview changes in your projectwithout the need to create a temporary preview file. High QualityPlayback renders a preview file and provides a quick preview rightafter. Click File: Preferences. In the General Tab, select the previewmethod that you prefer.For faster previews, you may choose to play only a part of yourproject. The selected range of frames to preview is referred to as thepreview area, and it is marked as a red bar in the Ruler Panel.To play the preview area only:1. Use the Trim Bar or theMark in/out buttons to selectthe preview area.The Preview range mark inand Preview range mark outtimecodes will then bedisplayed in the OptionsPanel.2. To preview the selected rangeof frames, hold [Shift], selectwhat you want to preview(Project or Clip), then clickPlay.
