If the clip has not been trimmed, thegreen bar extends along the entire length.To trim a clip with the Trim Bar:1. Select a clip from the Timelineor the Library.2. Click and drag a Trim handleto set the trim position.3. Hold down [Shift] and clickPlay Clip to selectively playonly the trimmed portion ofthe clip.To trim a clip from the Timeline:1. Click a clip in the Timeline toselect it.2. Drag the yellow Trim handleson either side of the clip tochange its length. The PreviewWindow reflects the position ofthe Trim handle in the clip.Or, click the timecode in theDuration box in the OptionsPanel and enter the desired cliplength.3. Other clips in your projectautomatically repositionthemselves according tochanges made.Trimming a clipThe best part of editing your movie on your computer is the easewith which you can snip and trim your work with frame by frameaccuracy.Note: Changes made in the Videoduration box only affect the Markout point. The Mark in pointremains unchanged.Tip: To split a clip into two, youcan use the Jog Bar to set the pointwhere to cut the clip. Then, clickSplit Video (i.e., the scissors icon).Trim handles
