However, due to the multitude of differentvarnishes and polishes used on today's furnishings, the occurrence of marks on the surfaces cannot becompletely ruled out.Connecting the charger¤ Connect the flat plug of the AC adapter .¤ Insert the AC adapter into the power socket .To remove the plug from the charging cradle again:¤ Disconnect the AC adapter from the mains power supply.¤ Press the release button .¤ Pull out the plug .Setting up the handset for useThe display is protected by a plastic film. Please removethe protective film!Inserting the batteryNever expose the telephone to the influence of heat sources, direct sunlight or other electricaldevices.Protect the telephone from moisture, dust, corrosive liquids and fumes.Only use a rechargeable battery as this could otherwise result in significant health risks and per-sonal injury. For example, the outer casing of the batteries could be destroyed or the batterycould explode.
