Start-up66 Installation instructions geoTHERM 0020051574_0488 Start-upa Danger!Risk of injury due to hot and cold compo-nents.The heat pump may only be put into opera-tion after all the cladding sections havebeen fitted.> Before starting up the unit, fit all of thecladding parts.> Fill out the start-up log before starting up the unit(¬ Ch. 15).The heat pump may only be started if all the points notedthere have been satisfied.For the subsequent start-up, it is assumed that you knowhow to operate the controller as described in the operatinginstructions.e Danger!Risk of electric shock!> You must first fit all of the cladding partsfor the inner and outer unit beforeswitching on the voltage supply.8.1 Carrying out the initial commissioningAs soon as the heat pump is supplied with power for thefirst start-up, an internal self-test starts automatically and,during this test, the heat pump tests itself and its con-nected components to ensure that they work properly. Indoing so, the configuration of the sensors is checked, thephase sequence of the 400 V voltage supply (phasesequence) is checked and the sensors that are used arechecked to ensure that they work properly.> Switch on the circuit breaker so that the heat pump issupplied with power.If the self-test is not successful, a fault message is shown inthe controller display (¬ Ch. 11).The controller automatically checks the correct phasesequence.> If a fault message is displayed, swap two of the phaseswith each other.The heat pump starts and the software in the controller ini-tialises:VaillantLoading...8.1 Controller initialisesAfter a short time the controller is ready for operation anddetects that this is an initial commissioning.
