18.9 To remove the receiver box.1. Slide the receiver box out of its support bracket.2. Remove the electrode ‘SPARK’ lead.3. Remove the wiring block from the side of the receiver box.4. Unscrew and remove the yellow coded switch wire and red coded thermocouplewire.5. Refit in reverse order. Please note that the yellow and red wire positions aremarked with coloured spots on the valve body.18.10 To remove the thermocouple interrupter block.(See figure 35).1. Remove the burner unit (See section 18.6).2. Detach the thermocouple from the interrupter block by unscrewing thethermocouple nut.3. Detach the two leads from the interrupter block making sure to pull on the base ofthe tabs and not the leads. It is important that when replacing the leads that the leadwith the larger tag (From the receiver) is furthest away from the valve body.4. Remove the interrupter block by unscrewing from the gas shut-off tap.5. Refit in the reverse order. If the leads cannot be easily attached to the interrupterblock when it is fully tightened to the gas shut-off tap, slacken it and rotate to allowthe leads to be fitted. Retighten making sure that the leads remain in place in theinterrupter block. Fit and tighten the thermocouple nut making sure that the leads aresecured in the interrupter block to give a good electrical contact.
