Instruments28Navigation system 3The navigation system is operated asdescribed in the operating instructionssupplied.The navigation system is supplied with aCD or DVD detailing the local territory.Refer to the navigation system operatinginstructions for details on how to accessadditional countries / territories.Mobile telephones and radioequipment (CB) 3The Vauxhall installation instructions andthe operating guidelines provided by thetelephone manufacturer must be observedwhen fitting and operating a mobiletelephone. Failure to do so could invalidatethe vehicle’s operating permit (EU Directive95/54/EG).Requirements to ensure trouble-freeoperation:z Professionally installed exterior aerial toobtain the maximum range possible,z Maximum transmission power 10 W,z Installation of the telephone in a suitablespot (see notes on page 54).Obtain advice on predeterminedinstallation locations for the externalantenna and equipment holder and waysof using devices with transmission power ofmore than 10 Watts. We recommend thatyou consult your Vauxhall AuthorisedRepairer, who will have consoles andvarious installation kits and install them inaccordance with regulations.Use a hands-free attachment if you mustuse your phone while driving.
