Forthe first connection, the PC and the sensormust authenticate each other. After successfulauthentication, the next connection functionswithout authentication.Enter PINFor authentication, enter in the next menu win-dow the 4-digit PIN.Note:If an incorrect sensor PIN is entered,the PIN can only be entered again aftera delay time. This time gets longer aftereach incorrect entry.ConnectedAfter connection, the sensor DTM appears.If the connection is interrupted, e.g. due to a toolarge distance between sensor and PC, this isdisplayed on the PC. The message disappearswhen the connection is restored.Change sensor PINIt is recommended to change the default settingof the sensor PIN to your own sensor PIN. To dothis, go to the menu "Additional adjustments",menu item "PIN".7.3 Parameter adjustmentPrerequisitesFor parameter adjustment of the instrumentvia a Windows PC, the configuration softwarePACTware and a suitable instrument driver(DTM) according to FDT standard are requi-red. The latest PACTware version as well as allavailable DTMs are compiled in a DTM Collec-tion.
