Substitute parts CAN result inproduct malfunction and possible injury to the oper-ator and/or others.Drive BeltsThere are two (2) individual belts:• Ground Drive Belt• PTO Drive Belt (3 Groove Power Band)The belts may be removed and replaced using thefollowing procedures:PTO Drive Belt1. Remove the two mounting bolts holding thePTO belt guide in place and loosen the frontmounting bolts of PTO actuator assembly (asshown). Remove belt guide. Remove nuts onthe front of brake band and remove.2. Unhook spring and unbolt actuator clevis at-tached to the PTO gearbox assembly. Pullgearbox assembly to the rear and remove belt.3. Install the PTO drive belt by reversing removalprocedure.Ground Drive BeltNOTE: The PTO drive belt must be removed for re-moval of the ground drive belt.1. Relax the belt by releasing spring tension fromthe ground drive belt idler arm.2. Slide the belt over both transaxle pulleys andfeed it toward the back of the mower.3.
