Probable cause is one or more loadcells faulty. The dead load selector may beon the wrong setting. The machine may beincorrectly installed.Fault-finding procedure :• Check that all connections to the machineare flexible.• Remove the side panel. Check that thedead load selector is set to 580-880 kg(machines 230-340-470) or 830-1130 kg(machine 670). If it is not, set it correctlyand calibrate the weighing equipmentaccording to "Calibrate the scale" under"Machine operation".• If the weight displayed is -999.9, tryfollowing the "Zero calibration" procedure(described under "Zero calibration" in the"Machine operation" chapter).• Remove the side panels and check thatthe load cells are unobstructed. Removeany mechanical obstructions.• Taking the load cell cables one at a time, disconnect the cable connecting eachload cell to the scale unit. Continue oneby one until a stable weight parameter isdisplayed (but not 999.9). When thisstable parameter is displayed you willknow which of the load cells must befaulty.Fig.8Fig.8
