Subsystem Maintenance Detailed procedureDescriptionThis section contains a check list and a detailedprocedure for subsystem maintenance. The partsshould be inspected and cleaned as required. Theprinter should be cleaned and lubricated ifaccessed for the repair of a problem.1. Disconnect the power cord.2. Open the Front Cover.3. Inspect or clean the scanner with a clean-upor film remO”er* retard pad (replace)(REP 4.2). ADF rollerCheck list * scan rollerInspect/clean the following components. Replaceparts that are worn or cannot be cleaned.. retard pad (PL 4.1).
