These standards aredesigned to mitigate interference caused or received by this device in a typical office environment.United States (FCC Regulations)This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant toPart 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmfulinterference in a commercial environment. This device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequencyenergy. If it is not installed and used in accordance with these instructions, it may cause harmfulinterference to radio communications. Operation of this device in a residential area is likely to causeharmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his/her ownexpense.If this device does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determinedby turning the device off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one ormore of the following measures:• Reorient or relocate the receiver.• Increase the separation between the device and receiver.• Connect the device into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver isconnected.• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/television technician for help.Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by Xerox could void the user's authority tooperate the device.
