Be sure to set the XK50cx asthe default printer for all your Windows95/98, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0operations.Most Windows software programs allowyou to make changes to the printersettings. This includes settings thatdetermine how a print job looks, such aspage size, paper orientation (landscapeor portrait), and margins.The following steps describe the typicalprocess to print from a Windowsenvironment:Make sure the XK50cx is properlyconnected to your computer, and that youhave installed the XK50cx software. Seethe Install Guide for details.From your Windows software program,choose Print or Print Setup from the Filemenu. Make sure the WorkCentreXK50cx is the selected printer. Click onthe Properties or Setup button if youwant to make any adjustments that areappropriate for printing your document.Note: Printer Properties dialog box buttonsand options include:OK: click when you have finished makingchanges.Cancel: click if you want to exit withoutmaking any changes.Help: click to view online help about printersettings."?": click to activate the context-sensitivehelp.
