Press the [F] button followed by the [V/M/MW]button.The blinking current memory channel number willbe shown on the display, and the contents of thecurrent memory channel will be shown on the dis-play.3. Rotate the [DSP/SEL] knob to select the memorychannel that you would like to erase.4. Press the [CLAR] button to erase the contents ofthe selected memory channel.5. Press the [V/M/MW] button momentarily to erasethe selected memory channel. The display willrevert to memory channel 1.ADVICE:After erasure, only the memory channel number willremain. The frequency data will disappear from thedisplay.If you make a mistake and wish to restore thememory’s contents, just repeat above steps.Memory Tune OperationYou may freely tune off of any memory channel in the“Memory Tune” mode, this is similar to VFO opera-tion. So long as you do not over-write the contents ofthe current memory, Memory Tune operation will notalter the contents of the memory channel.1. Press the [V/M/MW] button, if necessary, to enterthe Memory mode.2. Rotate the [MAIN DIAL] knob. You will now ob-serve that the memory channel’s frequency ischanging.The “M-TUNE” notation will replace the MemoryChannel Number, indicating you are in the“Memory Tune” mode.During Memory Tune operation, you may changeoperating modes, and engage and offset the Clari-fier, if desired.3. Press the [V/M/MW] button momentarily to returnto the originally-memorized frequency of the cur-rent memory channel.
