The 50 MHz band “Home”channel default is 50.100 MHz, 51.000 MHz, or 52.525 MHz, FM (depends on the transcever’s version).Home Channel Recall1. Press the [F] button, followed by the [RCL/HOME]button to recall the Home Channel on the bandgroup where you currently are operating (HF or50 MHz). The “HOME” notation appears in the dis-play.2. Press the [F] button, followed by the [RCL/HOME]button to return to the previous-used frequency(either a VFO or a memory channel).The transceiver switches to VFO mode if either the[DSP/SEL] knob or [MAIN DIAL] knob is turned. (InAM/FM modes the menu item “A&FDIAL” should beset to “ON” for the [MAIN DIAL] to be active).Home Channel Frequency ChangeThe factory default for the Home Channel is 29.300 MHz, FM for HF band and 51.000 MHz, FM for 50 MHzband. You can re-program the Home Channel in a manner identical to that used for the regular memories:1. In the VFO mode, select the desired frequency,mode, and status the way you want to have itstored.2. Press the [F] button followed by the [V/M/MW]button.The blinking current memory channel number willbe shown on the display, and the contents of thecurrent memory channel will be shown on the dis-play.If there is no action by you within 10 second fromreleasing the [V/M/MW] button the Memory Stor-age procedure is canceled.The memory storage procedure is canceled un-less you operate it within 10 seconds3. Press the [RCL/HOME] button momentarily tostore the frequency and other data into the HomeChannel.
