FTDX9000 TFT OPERATION MANUALGREAT CIRCLE MAP / ROTATOR CONTROL FUNCTION [F4](MODE)By pressing this key, the rotation control mode canbe selected. With every momentary press, themode changes as shown below. Normally, you will use the“100 %” value; once 100 % is selected, you typi-cally will not need to use this key. [F7](MAP)This key switches the TFT between the GreatCircle Map and the regular Rotator Control com-pass display.Advice: If the Great Circle display is utilized, youprobably already know the approximate locationof the other station on the map; so even if thecountry name and the city name are not enteredinto the radio, the Great Circle map provides aconvenient tool for rotating the antenna to theoptimum heading.If your own location is not indicated at the centerof the Great Circle Map, please set the local time(which registers the location where the radio isoperated). If this is not done, the various func-tions of the World clock and Great Circle map willnot function correctly. Regarding the setting of theLocal time, please see the “PLEASE READ THISFIRST” document. [DISP](DISPLAY)Press this key to move to the “MEMORY CHANNELLIST” screen.Press and hold in this key for two seconds to re-vert to the “TEMPERATURE/SWR INDICATION” screen.
