The display seg-ments of the fuel meter disappear to-wards “E” (Empty) as the fuel leveldecreases. When the last segment onthe left starts flashing, refuel as soon aspossible.TIPThis fuel meter is equipped with a self-diagnosis system. If a problem is de-tected in the electrical circuit, the follow-ing cycle will be repeated until themalfunction is corrected: “E” (Empty),“F” (Full) and symbol “ ” will flasheight times, then go off for approxi-mately 3 seconds. If this occurs, have aYamaha dealer check the electrical cir-cuit.Coolant temperature modeThe coolant temperature display indi-cates the temperature of the coolant.Push the “RESET” button to switch thecoolant temperature display to the airintake temperature display.TIPWhen the coolant temperature displayis selected, “C” is displayed for onesecond, and then the coolant tempera-ture is displayed.NOTICEECA10021Do not continue to operate the en-gine if it is overheating.Air intake temperature modeThe air intake temperature display indi-cates the temperature of the air drawninto the air filter case.
