While the indicator lights up forabout three seconds, select a DSP programusing the numeric buttons (1 to 8).* If the SELECTOR DIAL is set to the DSP position, youcan also select a DSP program using the numeric buttons(1 to 8).The name of selected program appears onthe display.3 If desired, adjust the delay time and the output level ofeach speaker. (For details, see pages 41 and 42.)Notes• You can select the program for each of the input sources.Once you select a program, it is linked with the input sourceselected at that time. So, when you select the input sourcenext time, the same program is automatically called.• If you prefer to cancel the DSP, press EFFECT or EFCT ON/OFF. The sound will be the normal 2-channel stereo withoutsurround sound effect.• When a monaural sound source is played with DOLBY PROLOGIC or DOLBY PRO LOGIC ENHANCED, no sound isheard from the main speakers and the rear speakers. Soundis heard only from the center speaker. However, if the NONEposition is selected on “1. CNTR” in the SET MENU mode,the main speakers output the sound of the center channel.• If the main-source sound is considerably altered byoveradjustment of BASS or TREBLE when this unit’s DolbyPro Logic Surround decoder or Dolby Digital decoder is used,the relationship between the center and rear channels mayproduce an unnatural effect.
