29 EnFM/AM tuningEnglishINTRODUCTIONADDITIONALINFORMATION APPENDIXPREPARATIONBASICOPERATIONADVANCEDOPERATIONy• You can select the preset station group and the preset station numberwhere the first received station will be stored by pressing EA/B/C/D/Eand then FPRESET/TUNING l / h.Notes• Any stored station data existing under a preset station number is clearedwhen you store a new station under the same preset station number.• Only FM stations with sufficient signal strength are stored automaticallyby automatic preset tuning. If the station you want to store is weak insignal strength, tune it manually and store it as described in “Manualstation preset” on this page.Use this feature to store the FM or AM stations manually.1 Tune into a station.See page 28 for using instructions.2 Press HMEMORY.The MEMORY indicator flashes on the front paneldisplay for approximately 30 seconds.3 Press EA/B/C/D/E and FPRESET/TUNINGl / h repeatedly to select a preset stationgroup and number (A1 to E8) while theMEMORY indicator is flashing.Check that the colon (:) appears on the front paneldisplay.• To select a higher preset station group and number,press FPRESET/TUNING h.• To select a lower preset station group and number,press FPRESET/TUNING l.4 Press HMEMORY while the MEMORYindicator is flashing.The station band and frequency appear on the frontpanel display with the preset station group andnumber you have selected.You can tune into any desired station simply by selectingthe preset station group and number under which it isstored.1 Press EA/B/C/D/E (or ll / h) repeatedly toselect the desired preset station group (A toE).The preset station group letter appears on the frontpanel display and changes each time you press thebutton.2 Press FPRESET/TUNING l / h (or lk /n) to select the desired preset stationnumber (1 to 8).The preset station group and number, along withstation band and frequency, appear on the front paneldisplay.y• You can select the desired preset station number (1 to 8) directly bypressing the numeric buttons (y).You can exchange the assignments of two preset stationsbetween the two.
