FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM7-263. Turn the main switch to “ON” and start the en-gine.TIP• The engine temperature and engine speed ap-pear on the LCD of the FI diagnostic tool.• “POWER” LED (green) comes on.• If a malfunction is detected in the system, the“WARNING” LED (orange) comes on.4. Stop the engine.TIPIf a malfunction is detected in the system, thefault code number appears on the LCD of the FIdiagnostic tool. In addition, the “WARNING” LED(orange) comes on.5. Turn the main switch to “OFF” to cancel thenormal mode.6. Disconnect the FI diagnostic tool and installthe self-diagnosis signal coupler cap.Setting the diagnostic mode1. Turn the main switch to “OFF” and enginestop switch to “ ”.2. Connect the self-diagnosis signal coupler “1”to the FI diagnostic tool “2” as shown.3. Disconnect the wire harness coupler from thefuel pump.4. While pressing the “MODE” button, turn themain switch to “ON”.TIP• “DIAG” appears on the LCD of the FI diagnos-tic tool.
