FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM8-20Fault code No. 14TIPIf fault code numbers 13 and 14 are both displayed, perform checkup and repair jobs for fault code num-ber 13 first.Fault code No. 14Item Intake air pressure sensor: hose system malfunction (clogged ordetached hose).Fail-safe system Able to start engineAble to drive vehicleDiagnostic code No. 03Diagnostic tool display Displays the intake air pressure.Procedure The atmospheric pressure is displayed on the Yamaha diagnostic tool.Item Probable cause of malfunc-tion and check Maintenance job Confirmation of service com-pletion1 The intake air pressure sensorhose is damaged, discon-nected, clogged, twisted orbent.Repair or replace the sensorhose.Start the engine and let it idle forapproximately 5 seconds (fullyclose the throttle valve).Check the condition of the faultcode using the malfunctionmode of the Yamaha diagnostictool.Condition is “Recovered”  Goto item 3 and finish the service.Condition is “Detected”  Go toitem 2.2 Defective intake air pressuresensor.
