Customizing Your Phone19You can customize your SIP-T26P IP phone by configuring the setting for time and date,language, and ring tones, for example. You can add contacts to the phone’s localdirectory manually or from call history. You can handle incoming calls from differentcontacts in different ways.This chapter provides basic operating instructions for customizing your phone. Always On: Backlight is on permanently. 15, 30, 60,120: Backlight is turned off when the phone is inactive for the specifiedtime (in seconds).To configure the backlight via web user interface:1. Click on Phone->Preference.2. Select the desired type from the pull-down list of Backlight Time (seconds).3.
