The topicsinclude: Local Directory Blacklist Remote Phonebook BroadSoft PhonebookThe built-in phone directory stores the names and phone numbers of your contacts. Youcan store up to 300 contacts in your phone's local directory. You can add, edit, delete orsearch for a contact in the local directory. You can also dial a contact from the localdirectory.You can add contacts to your local directory in the following ways: Manually From call history From remote phonebookAdding Contacts ManuallyTo add a contact to the local directory manually:1. Press Dir->Local Directory.2. Select the desired contact group (For example, select Contacts).3. Press the Add soft key.The ring tone for an incoming call on the phone may be different. For example, when thephone receives an incoming call from a contact stored in the local directory, it will playthe ring tone assigned to the contact in the contact directory (refer to Adding Contacts inthe Contact Management section). Otherwise, the phone will play the ring tone assignedto the account. If both the contact ring tone and the account ring tone are not assigned,then the phone will play the ring tone assigned to the phone. |
