Configuring Network81Multiple solutions for NAT traversal are available, for example, application layer gateway (ALG),simple traversal of UDP through NAT (STUN), and H.460 firewall traversal.Static NATIf NAT/Firewall devices do not support the ALG. VC400/VC120 must be configured with thestatic NAT.Static NAT defines a one-to-one mapping from one IP subnet to another IP subnet. Themapping includes destination IP address translation in one direction and source IP addresstranslation in the reverse direction. From the NAT device, the original destination address is thevirtual host IP address while the mapped-to address is the real host IP address. If your system is connected to a LAN that uses a NAT, you need to configure NAT Public IPAddress so that your system can communicate to WAN.NoteStatic NAT feature parameters on the system are described below:Parameter Description Configuration MethodStatic NATSpecifies the static NAT type. Disabled—the system does notuse the NAT feature. Manual—the system uses themanually configured NATpublic address. Auto—the system obtains theNAT public address from theYealink-supplied server.Default: DisabledRemote ControlWeb User InterfaceNAT Public IP Displays the NAT public Remote ControlIf H.460 firewall traversal is enabled on the system, the system will automatically ignore the staticNAT settings for H.323 calls. For more information on H.460 firewall traversal, refer to H.460Firewall Traversal on page 91.
