27Guarantee conditionsStandard guaranteeconditionsWe, Zanussi-Electrolux, undertake that ifwithin 12 months of the date of the purchasethis Zanussi-Electrolux appliance or any partthereof is proved to be defective by reasononly of faulty workmanship or materials, wewill, at our option repair or replace the sameFREE OF CHARGE for labour, materials orcarriage on condition that:The appliance has been correctly installedand used only on the electricity supply statedon the rating plate.The appliance has been used for normaldomestic purposes only, and in accordancewith the manufacturer’s instructions.The appliance has not been serviced,maintained, repaired, taken apart ortampered with by any person not authorisedby us.All service work under this guarantee mustbe undertaken by a Service Force Centre.Any appliance or defective part replacedshall become the Company’s property.This guarantee is in addition to yourstatutory and other legal rights.Home visits are made between 8.30am and5.30pm Monday to Friday. Visits may beavailable outside these hours in which casea premium will be charged.ExclusionsThis guarantee does not cover:Damage or calls resulting fromtransportation, improper use or neglect, thereplacement of any light bulbs or removableparts of glass or plastic.Costs incurred for calls to put right anappliance which is improperly installed orcalls to appliances outside the UnitedKingdom.Appliances found to be in use within acommercial environment, plus those whichare subject to rental agreements.Products of Zanussi-Electrolux manufacturewhich are not marketed by Zanussi-Electrolux.
