15Oven lamp replacementDisconnect the appliance from the electricitysupply.If the oven bulb needs replacing, it must comply withthe following specifications: electric power, 15 W/25 W;electric rate, 230 V (50 Hz); resistant to temperaturesof 300°C; connection type: E14. These bulbs areavailable from your local Service Force Centre.To replace the faulty bulb:1. Ensure the oven is disconnected from the electricalsupply.2. Turn the glass cover anticlockwise.3. Remove the faulty bulb and replace it with the newone.4. Refit the glass cover.5. Reconnect to the electrical supply.)Cleaning the OvenThe oven should be kept clean at all times. Abuild-up of fats or other foodstuffs could result ina fire, especially in the grill pan.Cleaning materialsBefore using any cleaning materials on your oven, checkthat they are suitable and that their use is recommendedby the manufacturer.Cleaners that contain bleach should NOT be used asthey may dull the surface finishes. Harsh abrasives shouldalso be avoided.• Never use steam or steam machines to clean theappliance.Never line any part of the oven with aluminiumfoil. It would result in an accumulation of heatwhich might damage the cooking results andalso damage the enamel.External cleaningRegularly wipe over the control panel, oven door and doorseal using a soft cloth well wrung out in warm water towhich a little washing up liquid has been added.To prevent damaging or weakening the door glasspanels avoid the use of the following:• Household detergent and bleaches• Impregnated pads unsuitable for non-sticksaucepans• Brillo/Ajax pads or steel wool pads• Chemical oven pads or aerosols• Rust removers• Bath/Sink stain removersClean the outer and inner door glass using warm soapywater. Should the inner door glass become heavily soiledit is recommended that a cleaning product such as HobBrite, or Bar Keepers Friend is used.
