The NICs in a groupwork together to route traffic efficiently and to recoverfrom failures. In the VLANs window, you can set up virtual LANs. Allgroups listed on the Load Balance/RSL window alsoappear as groups in the VLAN window. Any ungroupedNICs in the Load Balance/RSL window are also listed inthe VLAN window.Windows 2000Access DynamicAccess server features through theWindows 2000 Network and Dial-up Connections windowas follows:1 Log in to Windows 2000 with administratorprivileges.2 Launch the Windows 2000 Network and Dial-upConnections window.3 Select a Local Area Connection icon.4 Click the right mouse button and select Properties.The Local Area Connections Properties window appears.5 Click the General tab.6 In the General window, select DynamicAccessProtocol and click Properties.The DynamicAccess Protocol Properties window appears.Click the appropriate tab to configure server features.CAUTION: Before creating or removing a load balancinggroup or VLAN, take note of configuration informationsuch as IP addresses and IPX network numbers.DynamicAccess server software does not restore anetwork configuration to its pre-DynamicAccess state.Always verify that the network configuration conformsto your expectations after creating or removing a loadbalancing group or VLAN.
