Stop the drive and do the steps in section Electrical safety precautions (page 16) beforeyou start the work.2. Open the cabinet door.3. Clean the interior of the cabinet. Use a vacuum cleaner and a soft brush.4. Clean the air inlets of the fans and air outlets of the modules (top).5. Clean the air inlet gratings (if any) on the door.6. Close the door.Cleaning the interior of the heatsinkThe module heatsink fins pick up dust from the cooling air. The drive runs intoovertemperature warnings and faults if the heatsink is not clean.WARNING!Obey the safety instructions of the drive. Make sure that the drive is disconnected from the power line and all other precautionsdescribed under Grounding (page 17) have been taken into consideration.3. Undo the attaching screws of the handle plate of the drive module.4. Remove the handle plate.5. Vacuum the interior of the heatsink from the opening.6. Blow clean compressed air (not humid or oily) upwards from the opening and, at thesame time, vacuum from the top of the drive module.Note: If there is a risk of dust entering adjoining equipment, perform the cleaning inanother room.7.
