In areas where the tele-phone company supports SPID download, this information automat-ically downloads to the modem, and the Express 3000 becomes plug-and-play with the ISDN line.ANALOG DEVICES SUPPORTEDThe Express 3000 supports up to two analog devices such as tele-phone, FAX machine, or analog modem in addition to the computerconnection for data transmissions. When transmitting data at maxi-mum throughput over both B channels using Multilink PPP, theExpress 3000 modem automatically detects calls on the analog ports.Upon detection, the Express 3000 modem adjusts the speed of the datacall to 64 kbps using one B channel and accepts the analog/voice callon the other B channel.
