See the section VT 100 Terminal Dialing Options onpage 3-6.SYNC V.25 DialingV.25 bis specifies that the characters should be ASCII, 7 bits, with evenparity, and one stop bit. However, for versatility the Express allowsthe data bits, parity, and stop bits to be changed as defined under Dataformat. This setting allows for V.25 bis messages in asynchronous (start/stop)data format. In synchronous mode, the Express is an ISDN version of a synchronousmodem. For configuration or troubleshooting, the unit requiresconnection to an async VT 100 terminal and the dial option must be setto AT Commands. After the unit is completely configured, set the dialoption to V.25 bis and exit the VT 100 terminal interface. The unit isnow ready to respond to V.25 bis dialing commands. If it is necessary toreenter the VT 100 interface for re-configuration, troubleshooting or toview the status buffer, perform the following steps: (1) power the unit off,(2) set dip switch 2 to off (up) for factory default AT commands, (3)power the unit back on, (4) set dip switch 2 to on (down), and (5) typeAT!V to activate the terminal interface.CRN Call request (number in command)CRS Call request (using stored number)PRN Program stored numberRLN List stored numberCIC Connect incoming callDIC Disconnect incoming call
