This ’trouble-report’ contains a short and concise description of the event. Five eventsare covered: Paper Jam, Out of Paper, Toner Low, No Toner, PrinterOff-line.In order to determine who the e-mail recipients will be of these differenttrouble-reports, follow these instructions:1. From your print server’s internal Web page, go to: Admin | NetworkSettings | Detailed View | e-mail Notification. The following options willappear:2. Enter the respective e-mail addresses of the trouble-report recipients in theblank fields as follows: name@company.com3. Click OK and exit when done.Important:IPP (Internet Printing Protocol)The Axis Network Print Server enables printing over the Internet with IPP(Internet Printing Protocol), an industry standard that allows users toprint to remote printers across the Internet.With IPP, a user with an Internet connection can send a document to anyprinter which is connected to the Internet. IPP is platform independentand can be used to print over any LAN or WAN that supports TCP/IP.In practical terms, this means that you can send documents to a remoteprinter as an addition to or replacement of fax and e-mail, with the samequality and color options of traditional network printing.Options E-mail recipientAdministrator e-mail AddressThis address will be used as “Reply to”-address in the e-mailsPAPER JAM The person responsible for handling paper jams in theprinterOUT OF PAPER The person responsible for filling the printer with paperTONER LOW The person responsible for filling up the toner in theprinterNO TONER The person responsible for changing the toner in theprinterPRINTER OFFLINE The person responsible for the overall maintenance ofprinterCheck that the SMTP Server and Domain Name parameters in the printserver’s internal Web pages are correct.
