Clean probe assembly by generously spraying carburetor cleaner througheach of the barbed fittings of the probe handle, while allowing the cleanerto flow out of the probe tip.4. After spraying with carburetor cleaner, remove all the residual cleaner byrepeatedly flushing the probe assembly with alcohol.5. Clean sampling hoses by first squirting a few drops of detergent into oneend of each sampling hose. Then force water through each hose until alldetergent is removed (a faucet adapter connected to a small piece ofrubber hose can be used to supply a rapid flow of water through thesampling hose).6. Wipe off surfaces of probe and sampling hoses with a clean rag.7. Allow parts to dry completely. If available, blow compressed air throughprobe and hoses to expedite the drying process.8. Reassemble parts of probe assembly.4.7 Resetting the MicroprocessorIf the analyzer “locks-up” and cannot be turned off, or begins to operate in anerratic manner, remove the analyzer’s top panel and press the Reset button,located on the main printed circuit board.
