The IntegrateEnabled signal is set to high while the effective exposure occurs. The start, stop, and duration ofthe effective exposure are defined in the following ways (see Figure 3-9):• The effective exposure starts d microseconds after the rise of the ExSync signal (exposurestart delay).• Disregarding possible jitter, the duration of the effective exposure is defined by the ExSyncperiod p.• The effective exposure stops d microseconds or less (see following item) after the consecu-tive rise of the ExSync signal.• Jitter (f) may shorten the effective exposure, i.e.duration of the effective exposure = p - f .Due to the propagation time of approximately 1 μs, ExSync can go high up to 1 μs before framevalid goes low.A504k/kc A503k A501k/kcp Exposure as set by ExSyncd 3.3 μs 3.8 μs 20.8 μsf ≤ 3 μs ≤ 3.5 μs ≤ 12.8 μsp = ExSync Period3.3 μs ... 5.2 μs (A504k/kc)3.8 μs ... 6.2 μs (A503k)2 μs ... 3.3 μs (A504k/kc)2.5 μs ... 3.8 μs (A503k)13.5 μs ... 20.2 μs (A501k/kc)27 μs ... 40 μs (A501k/kc)p = ExSync Periodf = ≤ 3 μs (A504k/kc)f = ≤ 3.75 μs (A503k)f = ≤ 12.8 μs (A501k/kc)ExSyncFrameValidLineValidIntegrateEnabledTIMING CHARTS ARE NOT DRAWN TO SCALE
