Basic Operation and FeaturesBasler A500k 3-45PRELIMINARY3.12.1 Gray Scale Test ImageThe gray scale test image consists of lines withrepeated gray scale gradients ranging from 0 to255. The first line starts with a gray value of 0 onthe first pixel, in the second line the first pixelhas a gray value of 1, in the third line the firstpixel has a gray value of 2, and so on.The mathematical expression for the test imageis: gray level = [x + y] MOD 256. This expressionis shown graphically in Figure 3-32.Figure 3-32: Formation of the Monochrome Test Image3.12.2 Color Test Image (A504kc and A501kc Only)The color test image is similar to the grayscale test image, except that the firstgray scale stripe is red, the secondgreen, the third blue, the fourth white, the fifth red again.Figure 3-31: Test ImageFigure 3-33: Test Imagered green blue white redredgreenbluewhite redgreenbluewhite
