Thedefault community name for each access level is public or press ENTER.The following definitions explain each of the three levels of access:read-onlyThis community name provides read-only access to NBR MIB objects. Itexcludes access to the security protected fields of read-write or super-userauthorization.read-writeThis community name provides read and write access to NBR MIBobjects. It excludes access to the security protected field of super-userauthorization.super-userThis community name provides read-write access to NBR MIB objects. Italso allows change to all modifiable parameters including: communitynames, IP addresses, traps, and SNMP objects.5.2 SETTING SNMP COMMUNITY NAMESTo set a community name, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the community name you want tochange.2. Type the new community name and press ENTER. The oldcommunity name text disappears and is replaced by the newcommunity name.3. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command field.4. Press ENTER. The Event Message field at the top of the screendisplays “SAVED OK”.!CAUT IONIf you edit the super-user community name, be certain you donot forget it. If you do, you will be unable to perform LocalManagement functions without returning the community namesto the factory default configuration.
