BATTERY SAVER ACTIVEThis message displays when the system detects thatthe battery voltage is dropping beyond a reasonablelevel. The battery saver system starts reducing certainfeatures of the vehicle that you may be able to notice.At the point that the features are disabled, this messageis displayed. It means that the vehicle is trying tosave the charge in the battery.Turn off all unnecessary accessories to allow the batteryto recharge.The normal battery voltage range is 11.5 to 15.5 volts.You can monitor battery voltage on the Driver InformationCenter (DIC) by pressing the trip/fuel button untilBATTERY VOLTAGE is displayed.CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOONThis message displays when service is required foryour vehicle. See your dealer/retailer. See Engine Oilon page 5-13 and Scheduled Maintenance on page 6-4for more information.When you reset the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOONmessage by clearing it from the display, you still mustreset the engine oil life system separately. For moreinformation on resetting the engine oil life system,see Engine Oil Life System on page 5-16.CHECK TIRE PRESSUREThis message displays when the pressure in one ormore of the vehicle’s tires needs to be checked.This message also displays LEFT FRONT, RIGHTFRONT, LEFT REAR, or RIGHT REAR to indicatewhich tire needs to be checked. You can receive morethan one tire pressure message at a time. To readthe other messages that may have been sent atthe same time, press the set/reset button. If a tirepressure message appears on the DIC, stop as soonas you can. Have the tire pressures checked and setto those shown on the Tire Loading Informationlabel. See Tires on page 5-50, Loading Your Vehicle onpage 4-20, and Inflation - Tire Pressure on page 5-58.The DIC also shows the tire pressure values. SeeDIC Operation and Displays on page 3-69. If the tirepressure is low, the low tire pressure warning lightcomes on. See Tire Pressure Light on page 3-62.CLEAN RADARThis message displays when the Adaptive CruiseControl (ACC) system and the Forward Collision Alert(FCA) system are disabled because the radar is blockedand cannot detect vehicles in your path. It may alsoactivate during heavy rain or due to road spray. To cleanthe system, see “Cleaning the System” under AdaptiveCruise Control on page 3-19.3-74
