The selectedair delivery mode button is lit.Pressing any of the air deliverybuttons cancels automatic airdelivery control and the direction ofthe airflow can be controlledmanually. Press AUTO to return toautomatic operation.To change the current mode, selectone of the following:Y (Vent): Air is directed to theinstrument panel outlets.\ (Bi-Level): Air is dividedbetween the instrument paneloutlets and the floor outlets.[ (Floor): Air is directed to thefloor outlets.- (Defog): Clears the windows offog or moisture. Air is directed to thewindshield and floor outlets.0 (Defrost): Clears thewindshield of fog or frost morequickly. Air is directed to thewindshield. Press the 0 button toturn on or off. Changing the airdelivery mode also turns thedefrost off.# (Air Conditioning): Press theAC Mode touch screen control toturn the automatic air conditioningon or off. If the fan is turned off, theair conditioner will not run. Outsidetemperatures below freezing mayalso prevent the air conditioner fromrunning.Press AUTO to return to automaticoperation and the air conditionerruns as needed.Automatic Air Recirculation:When the AUTO indicator light ison, the air is automaticallyrecirculated as needed to helpquickly cool the inside of thevehicle.The climate control system mayhave a sensor to detect air pollution.When using automatic airrecirculation, the air quality controlsystem may operate. To adjust thesensitivity of the air quality sensor,see “Climate and Air Quality” underVehicle Personalization onpage 5-46.@ (Recirculation): Press toalternate between recirculating airinside the vehicle or pulling inoutside air. The indicator light on thebutton is lit when recirculation modeis active. This helps to quickly coolthe air inside the vehicle or reducethe outside air and odors that mightenter.Pressing this button cancelsautomatic recirculation. Press AUTOto return to automatic operation;recirculation runs automatically asneeded.Manual recirculation mode is notavailable when in Defrost or Defogmodes.
