Do not allowcontaminants to contact the fluids,reservoir caps, or dipsticks.HoodTo open the hood:1. Pull the hood release lever withthis symbol on it. It is on thelower left side of the instrumentpanel.2. Go to the front of the vehicle tofind the secondary hood releasehandle. The handle is under thefront edge of the hood near thecenter. Push the handle to theright and at the same time raisethe hood.To close the hood:Before closing the hood, be sure allfiller caps are on properly. Then,bring the hood from full open towithin 152 mm (6 in) of the closedposition. Pause, then push the frontcenter of the hood with a swift, firmmotion to fully close the hood.
