If the battery’s remaining capacity (p.268) is 94% or higher, the batterywill not be recharged. Do not recharge any battery pack other than genuine Canon Battery Pack LP-E6. If there is a problem with the battery charger or battery pack or ifcommunication with the battery pack (non-Canon battery packs) is notpossible, the protective circuit will terminate the charging and the orangelamp will blink quickly at a regular interval. If there is a problem with thebattery charger or battery pack, unplug the charger’s power plug from thepower outlet. Detach and reattach the battery pack to the charger. If the internal temperature of the battery pack attached to the charger ishigh, the charger will not charge the battery for safety reasons (lampoff).
